Now, weβre looking for a Head of AI Engineering to drive our AI strategy, build scalable models for real-time satellite communications, and lead the development of space-based edge computing.
As Head of AI Engineering, you will:

Develop AI-Driven Edge Computing Models β Design and deploy low-latency AI models that process and analyze data directly on satellites.

Optimize AI for Intersatellite Links β Build software solutions that enable seamless, AI-powered communication between satellites without reliance on ground stations.

Lead AI Model Deployment β Architect AI/ML solutions that scale across a distributed, low-power satellite network while ensuring performance, efficiency, and security.

Drive AI Research & Innovation β Explore applications of federated learning, reinforcement learning, and neural compression for satellite AI processing.
β
Build and Scale the AI Team β Hire, mentor, and manage a world-class AI engineering team focused on space applications.
π 8+ years in AI/ML engineering, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
π Proven experience building AI models for edge computing, distributed systems, or space applications.
π Strong software engineering background in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and AI model optimization techniques.
π Experience deploying AI in real-time, low-latency, or constrained environments (e.g., edge devices, satellites, IoT, defense systems, robotics, or autonomous systems).
π Understanding of AI model security, adversarial AI, and data resilience in extreme environments.
π Knowledge of intersatellite communications, remote sensing, or cloud AI pipelines is a strong plus.
